Greater Victoria Harbour Authority
Victoria Inner Harbour traditionally is a place for gathering and a main turist destination of the city. The Harbour has also been home for the lək̓ʷəŋən people but their presence has been faded away. The efforts for Reconciliation process of the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority tied this project where lək̓ʷəŋən will reclaim their presence in the harbour.
My role during this project was as project manager and creating construction drawings, develop client presentation, and implementation of indigenous art in place. With the Senior Designer together we created the different elements of the placemaking project. Additionally I lead a workshop with the artist to help them create the vector files of their work.
