Dawson Creek City Signage program

The City of Dawson Creek required a comprehensive set of design and construction guidelines for a unified family of wayfinding signage. The scope included vehicular directional signs, pedestrian directionals, main destination arrival signs, and trail markers, all intended to function cohesively across the city.

I was responsible for translating initial hand-drawn pencil concepts into a fully resolved, production-ready system. This included redrawing all signage components, developing accurate dimensioning, and conducting a sign audit to ensure consistency, legibility, and alignment with site conditions. I produced complete construction drawings and detailed implementation recommendations, providing clear guidance for fabrication, installation, and long-term use.

The final guidelines established a clear, scalable signage system that supports intuitive navigation while ensuring durability, clarity, and consistency across different sign types. This project demonstrates my ability to bridge concept design and technical documentation for public-realm infrastructure.
